Earth from a Space Station
Last updated: February 16, 2026

Overview

Earth from a Space Station ("the App") is a WebXR application that simulates the view of Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) or the Chinese Space Station (CSS). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App does and does not collect.

Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

Network Requests

The App makes network requests solely to load its own assets (textures, data files, and orbital data) from servers operated by the developer. These requests are necessary for the App to function and do not include any personal or identifying information.

Platform Data Collection

The App can be used directly in a web browser or installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) through the Meta Horizon Store. When used through the Meta Horizon Store, the Meta platform may independently collect information such as app usage time, device telemetry, and other platform-level data. This data collection is performed by Meta, not by the App or its developer, and is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. When using the App directly in a web browser, no such platform-level data collection applies.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. When installed as a PWA through the Meta Horizon Store, the App has no control over data that the Meta platform may collect independently.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Since the App collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
